The Heart's Fire

As a child, Allie watched most of her family slaughtered by evil men seeking the amulet she wore around her neck, a mysterious inheritance from her mother with powers she has no idea how to tap into. Now, at 17, as she’s building a new life, she finds herself drawing closer and closer to her childhood friend, Aidan Harris, and her great hopes of a future with him unfolding are interrupted when she receives a proposal of marriage from the son of the powerful village elder.
